HELLO!
It's been a few weeks since I've actually written anything for the fun of writing. School is getting into the final rush of papers and tests that get squeezed in at the end of the semester so my days feel like they're going by way too fast for me to actually get anything done.
This is me sitting here listening to A*Teens, working on my resume, and waiting for American Horror Story to come on. Job hunting is not fun.
What has everyone been up to? I know Thanksgiving was last week and I ate my body weight in delicious foods. I did a bit of Black Friday shopping in Burnsville with Erin, Sarah, Maddie, and Kayla which was awesome! I didn't get much because, as my luck goes, the things I wanted we not on sale.
We also celebrated the retirement of Kye and Zeus at the barn two weeks ago. I got them all glamorized and they were turned loose in the arena during their party. I cried. I forget how much of a bond I have developed with every horse in that barn until they are leaving. I'm so happy they're going to great homes to live out the rest of their lives but I'm going to miss them so much. They're all my babies and I hate when any of them leave.
I discovered on Saturday that if you have a few drinks, bowling becomes hilarious because I am terrible at it. Not just bad, terrible. There was also a group of teenies at the lane next to us requesting One Direction and Bieber music...they sucked too.
Know what else is fun? When you watch a scary movie with a group of girls. One girl (I won't embarrass her by saying who) was so terrified and we all thought it'd be fun to shut all the lights out and hide in the laundry room while she was in the bathroom. We also thought it'd be fun to run our nails down the wall that linked to the bathroom. All of a sudden we hear noise and she comes flying out of the bathroom, flicking all of the light switches, and crying. She had managed to fall off the toilet and pee on the floor. I have never experienced the ROTFL but I actually fell to the floor laughing.
What else...
I was compared to McKayla Maroney last week? That was cool. She's pretty and she does a wicked "I'm not impressed face". I'm also pretty sure the people who said I looked like her were hammered.
This blog makes my life seem so boring, it's sad. I obviously need to get out more and do things instead of being a hermit.
Currently Playing: Firefly-A*Teens
(I figure I can share my musical tastes when I write these things because they're kind of all over the place)

We're All Pyromaniacs.
I feel like I should do a blog post! I'm not really sure what to say but I'm trying really hard to procrastinate on my homework.
I went out to Erin's this weekend since I couldn't go home because my family had gone to our timeshare in Brainerd. Guys, she was SICK. I was just sitting there praying that I didn't catch whatever she had (which ended up being a group of things including strep). I'm thinking I'm out of the danger zone for that now which is good because I can't miss any school for being sick since, you know, I would need a doctor's note to miss class. I feel like that rule is the most ridiculous rule ever. Why would I go to the doctor for a thing like a cold or 24-hour flu? I know what it is. I don't want to pay a co-pay just for them to tell me to sleep it off.
Ergh. College woes.
One thing that we did that I really enjoyed was the 'burning of the fears'. Erin had us sit for about 5 minutes and write down everything that made us nervous before going into the show ring. I didn't realize so many things made me so nervous until I wrote them all down. Some of them were dumb things that I know I have control over but, nonetheless, make me nervous.
We then proceeded to dunk them in gasoline and light them on fire.
It was epic and symbolic in a deep way.
What I found funny (and kind of complementary) was that one of the girls said that my list probably consisted of something like being afraid of the dark.
Har har har my list was 10 strong.
But it made me very happy (and probably made me blush) that I can put on a front of total confidence when I show. I try really hard to keep it together even when I'm so nervous that I get ill before my class.
So for anyone who thinks that I don't get nervous. I do. Oddly enough, I'm the most nervous with Buzz and he's the one I've done the best with so...Living up to my own expectations is HARD.
I think I've done enough reflecting and procrastinating now!

Woooooooooooo!!!!!
Hey guess what, OBAMA WON! I'm just plain giddy! I can't stop smiling! But you know, I have to avoid "gloating" because I may offend some of my republican friends.
FYI, I'm not gloating, I'm HAPPY. There's a difference. Some of the hate that is being spread around on my Facebook is shocking. I thought we were all adults and understood that everyone is entitled their own beliefs and opinions.
That's all I'm going to say on that subject or I will start ranting and get mad. So that's that.
In other news, I had a peppermint mocha this morning and it was like paradise in a cup. There is nothing better than when Starbucks has their holiday season (many things are better, I'm just pleased by the little things).
I also am very excited for December. VERY excited. Know why? This is why.
The mothereffing HOBBIT is coming out. Oh my God. I'm already totally tweaking. I love Martin Freeman (Sherlock, anyone?) and I'm TICKLED PINK that he's Bilbo!
There is also this:
Les Miserables. Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe, Eddie Redmayne, and other people that I enjoy. I'm EXCITED and already almost in tears based on the preview.
Next week, I'm excited to go see this:
So this is me. Being excited. I also can't wait for Thanksgiving break. I just want to sleep for a while.

All Fired Up
I'm getting so lazy with my school work. I didn't make it out to the Oklunn clinic this past weekend, much to my dismay, because I had to write a paper on the benefits of Google Books.
Seriously?
What is my life? That is the most mundane topic to ever be pulled out of the topic hat.
On the plus side, I went home and got to see my dog which is always a good time because in case you guys didn't know, I freaking love my dog. I love all dogs in general but I love mine in particular because she's MINE and she loves me more than anyone else.
I also did laundry which is also a plus I guess. I went out to Centre Pointe after not being out there for SO LONG (too long, way too long) and got to snuggle with my boys. I've missed them so much. I got a nice love bite from Buzz and gave him some Nerds candy which he thoroughly enjoyed. I then went out and tried to visit with Soldier but butthead Knight kept shoving him away. What a punk. Solider did get close enough to swipe his Nerds out of my hand and then run away. He's a knucklehead but I love him.
In other news, did you guys know that there's this election tomorrow? Who knew. In all actuality, I'm so freaking nervous for tomorrow. I'll just toss out there that I'm voting for Obama. Love me or hate me, I don't really care. I have my own opinions on everything and I don't need to justify them to anyone. I'm usually more of a moderate person with liberal beliefs but this election is so unbelievably black and white (BAHAHAHA I'm hilarious) in the viewpoints of both candidates.
Everyone is so full of hate for the other party and I'm pretty sure it's worse this year than it's ever been. It makes me very very nervous because I feel like everyone is just waiting to lose their mind over something.
I don't know. Maybe that's just me.
I'll be voting tomorrow. I'll also be chugging the hard cider because I'm at the point that I'm so nervous that I swear I'm having heart palpitations.
And now, some political quotes (because, again, this is my blog and I can do as I please).
“The enemy isn’t conservatism. The enemy isn’t liberalism. The enemy is bullshit.”

Happy Halloween!
I love Halloween. I don't even need to go out and go trick-or-treating for it to be great (because let's be honest, I'm totally going to go an raid the candy shelves at Target).
The day started out awesome because Caribou was having a BOGO deal. I downloaded that coupon like it was worth a million dollars. So Jena and I went to Caribou and she bought me a latte. There's a reason I love her. It was great.
Class blew. What else is new? (See that? I rhymed and I didn't even mean to. Har har)
Then I dragged Eric out to Papa John's because I had a pizza coupon and I wanted pizza. What I really desperately wanted was Chipotle but their deal didn't start until 4 pm and I was hungry. I also learned that there is a new Noodles and Co on Washington Ave. And a Dino's Gyros. I freaking love gyros...
ANYWAYS. So pizza was good. Then I went over to Jena's where we watched The Avengers and she made me look like Peggy Carter and we drank tea. We are quite obviously badass.
Seriously! How did she do that? Even I will admit that I think I look freaking awesome. She could be a makeup artist for movies or something. SO cool!
Now I'm waiting for class to start. Tonight I'm going out to dinner and a Gopher basketball game with my Dad. Tomorrow I head out to Oklunn to watch their equitation book camp with Judy!
What is sleep?
